  1. This directory contains TE a terminal emulator usable on top of any shell
  2. (and especially Master). This software is GNU-ware and was written by a friend
  3. of us. If you want to use the full power of the Master-Interface, please
  4.     setenv TEOPTIONS -D
  5. (this enables the status-option activated by <Help>S). The cost display (option
  6. -K and function key f1) is only useful in germany. You can input shell-commands
  7. after pressing <Insert>. Then you have the full editing possibilities
  8. (completion for both filenames with <Insert> or <Shift><Insert> and history
  9. with <Home>, scrolling with arrow keys and of course ^D, ^X, ^Y,...). The
  10. documentation is still only in german (sorry).
  11. B_CONAUX (installed and then called once to enable) allows you to give shell
  12. commands over the serial line. Please look at MAILBOX.BAT how this can be used
  13. in a mailbox-system.

  15. BTW.: Since Master allows you to call programs by giving their full name, the
  16. extensions .TTP and .TOS are ommited. TE and B_CONAUX are the executables.
